Jidon Adams, better known as Jidion, is 22 years old, an American Twitch streamer and YouTube blogger known for his joke videos and video blogs. Despite his young age, his name is a household name around the world.
He launched his YouTube channel on July 1, 2018. Although he deleted some of his earlier videos, he began uploading them in September 2018. His first video was published on February 11, 2019. Initially, his channel was not a big success.
In the spring of 2019, his channel began to expand, and some of the videos he published racked up millions of views. In September 2019, he reached 100,000 subscribers. His channel will grow very quickly in late 2020 and early 2021 – faster than before. He published a video that racked up more than 5 million views and is currently his most popular, Dec. 31, 2020.
As of 2022, the youtuber had attracted 5.75 million subscribers. And his channel has grown considerably, and he still releases new content regularly.
He also broadcasts on Twitch. Unfortunately, however, he has been banned from the platforms. He spoke out against his indefinite disqualification and asked his supporters to support him in coming back.
The streaming community witnessed a rather unusual occurrence: Twitch banned the streamer for seven days for apparently having sex on air.
Why was Jedion banned on Twitch?
After the news went viral on Twitter, YouTube content creator Jidon “JDion” expressed his frustration with the Amazon-owned live streaming platform and called them “racist.”
What did Gidion say?
He initially accepted a 14-day ban and took responsibility for violating the terms of service.
He insisted that his attack had nothing to do with her gender, saying, “My dislike of her has nothing to do with her gender, but with her as a person!”
Jidion stated, however, that the permanent ban was unfair.
He said: “I’m not here to talk about why I was banned because I deserved to be banned.
“What is, is what is. I violated the terms of service.
“But I’m here to talk about what I’m here to ask Twitch to do it honestly.
“I think Twitch should keep my 14-day disqualification, especially for the first violation, and not let outside factors determine [it].
“What I did was wrong. But how am I supposed to do better next time if I never have a next time?”
